Carter Heim Appointed to Chesapeake Bay Trust

Carter Heim, president of HeimLantz, PC of Annapolis, MD has been appointed to the board of trustees for the Chesapeake Bay Trust.

The Chesapeake Bay Trust is an independent, non-profit grant-making organization chartered in 1985 by the Maryland General Assembly to engage the public in the protection and restoration of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributary rivers and streams. The Trust is governed by a 19-member Board of Trustees that set policies relating to grant making, spending, investment, management, and governance.

The 19-member Board consists of fourteen members appointed by the Governor, two ex-officio representatives from the State General Assembly, one representative from the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), one representative from the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDA), and one representative from the Maryland Department of Agriculture (MDA).
