The Volunteer Center For Anne Arundel County, which is beginning its 10th year, named the following officers for 2011-2012: Talia Whitney, Premier Planning Group executive assistant, president; Mary Lynn Johnson, M&T Bank assistant vice president for Chesapeake Business Banking, vice president; Regina Bidnick, CPA, HeimLantz senior accountant, treasurer and board member; and Benjamin W. Hahn, attorney for Schnader Harrison Segal and Lewis, secretary. Chera Howey, catering sales manager, Loews Annapolis Hotel, will serve as past president. In addition to Bidnick, other new board members for 2011-2012 include Danny Mays, community volunteer and vice president and event emcee for Anne Arundel County High School Battle of the Bands; Bia Roen, founder of Precise Title Inc; and Kim Yates, director, RSVP Program, Anne Arundel County Department of Aging and Disabilities.
