Amy M. Wilkens, CPA

Amy Wilkens has been an important part of the team. She started with Heim and Associates after graduating and obtaining her CPA license in 1998. Amy’s interest in accounting stems from her desire for a career that combined math and business. She attributes her success to hard work and putting her clients’ needs first, following Nietzsche’s philosophy, “What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.”

A Certified QuickBooks Advisor, Amy works with businesses to improve their accounting processes primarily in real estate, medical, and equipment rental industries. She specializes in working with partnerships and other businesses by providing QuickBooks consulting services. In particular, Amy is experienced in establishing or improving clients’ accounting processes. In the past year, she assisted a company with updating their accounting systems from manual accounting to QuickBooks, increasing their efficiency and improving oversight.

Amy has lived in the Baltimore area her entire life and currently resides in Catonsville, Maryland with her husband, Vern, and their three children. When not in the office, she enjoys coaching soccer and lacrosse, and is a fan of Baltimore sports teams. Her favorite things about living in the area are the inner harbor and its proximity to nature.
