Carol joined HeimLantz in 2017 as a senior tax specialist in the tax department. Her responsibilities are primarily the completion of tax preparation and tax research.
Carol graduated from the State University of New York at Albany in 1969, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education. She later returned to school and received a Certificate in Accounting from Catonsville Community College in 1980. A decade later she attended the College of Financial Planning and was awarded a Master of Science in Financial Planning in 1993. Prior to joining the HeimLantz team, Carol spent 20 years at Leonard J. Miller & Associates, chartered, serving most-recently as the firm’s deputy tax director. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
A resident of Riva, Maryland, Carol’s hobbies include piano and duplicate bridge.
