Eileen joined the HeimLantz team in August 2015. Prior to beginning her career in accounting, she worked in hotel and event management for the armed forces in Hawaii. Her personal integrity and service philosophy can be summed up in a quote from Maya Angelou: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.”
Born and raised, in Guam, Eileen earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Hawaii-Manoa in 2001. Her eagerness to learn led Eileen to pursue a Master of Business Administration at Loyola University Maryland in 2010. When one of her professors opened her mind to the variety of work involved in the accounting profession, Eileen decided that accounting was the next path for her. After completing her degree, she returned to Guam and worked for Ernst & Young for three years. Eileen is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
When away from the office, Eileen enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and meeting new people. She appreciates the history and charm of Annapolis and values time with family and friends. Eileen met her husband while living in Hawaii. They now live in Severn with their two children, two dogs, and two cats.
