Get to know Tina
Tina’s favorite is definitely Thanksgiving. She loves it because her family is always together and it’s a day full of relaxing and eating.
Tina’s bucket list includes visiting all the national parks, going skydiving, and being in the Saturday Night Live audience.
Tina chose to pursue a career in the accounting field because of her desire to help others as a financial resource. She is a great fit for the HeimLantz team because she is detail oriented, open minded, hardworking, and a team player. When faced with a tough situation, Tina recalls the words of her favorite quote, which comes from Stephen Hawking: “However difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.”
In 2019, while she was still a student at George Mason University, Tina joined the HeimLantz team as an intern. She graduated in 2020 and joined the firm fulltime in January of 2021. In her capacity as a staff accountant, Tina works in the firm’s Tax Department, completing tax preparation.
Born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia, Tina moved to Northern Virginia in 2016 when she enrolled at George Mason University. These days, she lives in Arlington, an area which she enjoys for the access to different foods and cuisines and for the city living. Tina likes to spend her free time reading, cheering on her favorite hockey team, the Washington Capitals, and traveling—she once took a trip where she visited six countries in just ten days!
