Annemarie Heim is a manager in the firm’s tax department. She specializes in small business tax in the real estate and professional firms industries. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Elon University in 2007 where she graduated summa cum laude, and obtained her Maryland CPA license in 2009. Prior to joining HeimLantz in 2009, Annemarie worked at Ernst & Young in the tax department assisting with tax return preparation and working on two large consolidated corporate return groups. She was inspired to go into accounting by her father who always loved his job as a CPA. She enjoys taking the time to build personal relationships with her clients and will do whatever she can to help them. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA).
Annemarie grew up in Annapolis with her parents, Doreen and Carter, and her brother, Jonathan. Outside of work, she enjoys crafting and traveling with her family. She currently resides in Odenton with her husband, Matt, and their son, Benjamin. Their family loves the area’s close proximity to the mountains, water, beach and city.
