Kathi joined HeimLantz in 2009 after many years of working in billing for DC-area law firms. Responsible for client billing and collections, she helps to resolve issues pertaining to payment inquiries and accounts receivable. In addition to client billing, Kathi brings over a decade of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and collections to her role. She welcomes the opportunity to respond to client inquiries by working with our team members to address questions regarding their work performed and billed.
Having had an initial interest in teaching, Kathi holds an Associate degree in Elementary Education from Prince George Community College. Her professional career turned to bookkeeping and billing services because she liked learning new technology and software programs. She also excels at training others in these customized programs. Though her professional interest changed, Kathi remains involved in education. She advocates for public schools and parent involvement. She is an elected officer with Annapolis Middle School Parent Teacher Student Association and serves as the Treasurer for Boy Scout Troop 366. Kathi attributes her success to her favorite mentors – her parents – who both worked full-time while she was growing up.
When her work and family schedules permit, Kathi appreciates amusement parks and scary movies. However, most often when she has free time, she can be found on the soccer fields watching her kids play. She enjoys boating in the summer and snow skiing in the winter. Kathi and her husband Richard reside in Annapolis, where they raise two children and two cats.
