Laura first joined HeimLantz as a billing specialist. From the very beginning she enjoyed the challenging work and the encouraging and supportive environment. Laura left the firm briefly, to focus on her family, but when the firm administrator position became available, she immediately knew she wanted to return. The team is what drew her back. Laura attributes much of her professional success to her eagerness to learn, the ability to acknowledge and accept what she’s good at and her determination to do a great job.
Laura oversees HeimLantz’s day-to day-operations, including client relations, finance, human resources and strategic planning. She has extensive experience in hiring and recruiting and has been actively using the TopGrading™ method to find the best candidates to help grow the firm. Laura also enjoys assisting clients with their recruiting and hiring challenges. She has earned a Green Belt certification with Lean Six Sigma, which aids in increasing the quality and efficiency of processes for the firm.
Laura currently resides in Cape St. Claire with her husband, daughter and two dogs. She enjoys the area for its proximity to the water and the rich history of Annapolis. Outside the office, she enjoys reading, gardening and cooking.
