Get to Know Kit
Kit’s favorite holiday is Halloween. He likes the crazy costumes—and candy, of course!
If he wasn’t an accountant, Kit would want to be a Japanese interpreter. His other dream job (besides accounting) was being an interpreter at Nintendo. He studied Japanese for eight years (four in high school and four in undergrad).
Kit’s personal motto is: “Train harder and get stronger!”
BIO
Kit enjoys the organization that accounting brings to life and business—he loves seeing everything balance at the end. Armed with a strong work ethic instilled in him by his parents, Kit has enthusiastically and energetically pursued his career in the field. When faced with difficult quandaries, he recalls his personal philosophy of service: “Never give up, there is an answer.”
A graduate of the University of Vermont, Kit earned an undergraduate degree in 2018 and a graduate degree in 2019. He completed internships both at HeimLantz and at another firm while still in school, then joined the HeimLantz team fulltime in 2021. His primary responsibility is completing individual tax returns, but he also performs some client bookkeeping. Kit is currently in pursuit of his CPA license and in search of a niche field in which to focus his career. For now, he describes himself as a jack of all trades who is striving to learn as much as possible and discover new aspects of the field.
Kit and his family are very close. He currently lives in Potomac, Maryland with his parents. His fiancé, whom he met in high school, lives just a short drive away. He loves living in Potomac because it is beautiful, well-kept, and great for walking around in. In his free time, Kit enjoys playing competitive video games, cooking, reading, and drawing. When he has the opportunity to travel, his favorite destination is Kiawah Island in South Carolina. He loves the warm, calm beaches and beautiful golf courses that it has to offer.
